hado's folly

June, 2007

And even more gorgeous weather. The awesome Parlinis came up to visit and we got into some croquet and kayaking. We also went for a walk and met the neighbor's cat. I wish I had some pictures of that cat. He followed us down the road like a dog and then jumped into the bushes when a car came up the road heading for the house the cat came from. Then he peeped out when the car had passed and waited a few minutes and ran into the bushes on the other side of the road like he was hiding from the driver. You had to be there.

I'm grimacing as Rich gets ready to whack my ball to kingdom come.

Perri and Nick giving each other croquet advice.

Highslide JS

The advice is getting out of hand and turning into a croquet duel! Rich is going to have to break this up.

I have no idea.

Kayaking down at the millpond. These pictures are interesting because people keep turning up in different kayaks.

And now Rich is in the green kayak. And thirsty.

This seemingly random photo actually shows a puff of smoke from the train that runs from Arkville to Roxbury. Trainspotting shot.
